Quebec Day 1 - Dog Sledding

Today Rundle students woke up and after breakfast loaded up the bus to head out to Quebec. Over night, there was quite a bit of snow, however that did not slow us down. We stopped along the way for a truly amazing experience, dog sledding! Although the snow was blowing quite strongly, once the sleds made their way into the well established tracks in the forest, there was a real sense of magical peace. Here are a few reflections from some of our students:

My experience at the dog sledging was that at first I was sacred and when the dogs started barking I got worried but then we started to move and I thought it wasn’t so bad. After a while I really started to enjoy it even with the blizzard outside - by Darren

Carlos- It was freezing, but I still had fun!

Aidan- The dogs were amazing, the sledding was fun, and the weather just added on to that experience.

Dan- Sledding was glamorous. The dogs were full of energy. The weather was a big extra!

Jayden- the dogs where vary anxious at the start but near the end they gave us so much fun they where exhausted.

Max- the dogs were pretty cool. They were huge!
